La Petite Pommeraie, L'Etable and Studio in detail
There are 2 one bedroomed cottages-La Petite Pommeraie and L'Etable,a studio and a 2 bed cottage comprising L'Etable and the studio together. They are available for rent weekly or longer during the season and for much longer periods at much lower rents out of season. Ask the owner for details.
The cottages all enjoy a good degree of privacy and are situated in a large and pretty garden. They all have their own private terraces, screened from view by mature trees and shrubs, but all have the use of the main garden with it's mature trees, including a large willow, providing shade where needed. All have exposed beams, are light airy and spacious with plenty of privacy and space around them for you to enjoy the peace and quiet of this gem of a property at the river end of a small hamlet.
The French-speaking English owners live on-site and can offer help and advice when needed.
La Petite Pommeraie
La Petite Pommeraie (2-5) £250 pw high season
The cottage has just undergone further renovation to bring it up to a good standard. It has a bedroom with a large 5' double bed, a spacious living room with a good 3' divan/daybed and a very comfortable double sofa-bed. There is a separate kitchen with full cooking facilities and a washing machine, and a bathroom with shower. Outside you have your own terrace with garden furniture and barbeque. There is a large willow adjacent which offers ample shade if needed and screening from our property. The rest of the large garden is at your disposal.
L'Etable (part)
L'Etable (2/5) £250 pw high season
The cottage, which is set in the same grounds as La Petite Pommeraie, has a bedroom with a 5' double bed, and a good sized living room with good, comfortable sofabeds which can sleep 3 more. There is a separate fitted kitchen with full cooking facilities and washing machine and a bathroom with bath and shower. Outside you have your own south facing terrace with garden furniture. There is a large garden with plenty of trees which offer ample shade if needed.
L'Etable (whole)
L'Etable (4/7) £375 high season
The cottage, as above, set in the same grounds as La Petite Pommeraie, has a bedroom with 5' double bed, a full bathroom with bath and shower, a kitchen with full cooking facilities, microwave and a washing machine, a good sized living room with good, comfortable sofabeds which can sleep 3 and a further bedroom/living room arranged as a studio, sleeping 2 (or 3 if you use a z-bed as well) with a kitchenette and shower room, which can also be rented separately. Outside the french windows you have 2 terraces with garden furniture. 1 facing north and west with full views across the fields to the sunset, the other facing south. There is a large garden with plenty of trees which offer ample shade if needed .
Studio
The Studio sleeps 2 £125 p.w. year round
It is a ground-floor studio all on one level with a living room with an excellent quality sofabed (which can be left open or folded away as you wish),a kitchenette with 2-ring hob, oven, microwave and fridge, and an adjoining shower room. Outside the french windows you have a terrace with garden furniture facing west with full views across the fields to the sunset. There is a large garden with plenty of trees which offer ample shade if needed and where you can sit facing south if you wish.
